This masterfully monumental portrait work with two children (probably brothers) on the beach of the famous Belgian seaside resort Ostend at the North Sea. This painting was executed around the 1880s by a representative of the Belgian school, signed illegally at the bottom of the edge of the painting.

Inscription: signed indistinctly lower left.
Technique: oil on canvas. Luxuriously gold-plated frame.
Dimensions: unframed 75 x 115.5 cm, framed 97 x 139.5 cm.
Condition: in very good condition, the original canvas was professionally relined.
