"Albert De Belleroche : "salome""
Count Albert de Belleroche (1864-1944): “Salomé”, large lithograph 60 X 37 cm mounted by a pretty Marie-Louise in wash in an oak frame with golden oval stripes 73 X 51 cm bearing a label of Parisian framer. Signed in pencil. Lots of skin rashes and wetness that will fade with cleaning. (See also our “Leaning Woman”). A close friend of John Singer Sargent, he was one of the founders of the Salon d'Automne where he exhibited regularly, until he had an entire room in 1904! Grand Master of lithography, he is for her what Helleu is to the drypoint. Do not hesitate to ask us by mail or telephone for additional information or photos. We have many objects and paintings to restore in our shop / shambles / depot in Pau where I let myself be invaded a little and for which we prefer selling on site, preferably in lots. Come help us tidy up by buying! Other photos and many other objects in our stores in Pau and Biarritz and on our website: galerielhoste.com.
