Pair Of Monumental Panels Art Deco Asia And Africa (1930) Signed André David

Two large oils on panels, in very good condition, signed by the painter André David.

It is a mixed technique: the characters are painted with a very great finesse, the rest of the work is made with the technique known as " knife", extremely well executed, it brings many reliefs and depths to these two works.

Of very large sizes, these panels mounted in frames in blond oak were used as sliding doors. This explains the presence of a handle on the panel of Africa.

The subject is unusual for Art Deco works.

The colors are very beautiful (the photos are taken in the shade which distorts the colors a little) they are more beautiful with the naked eye.
