18th Century Italy, Golden Painted Cabinet With Putti Decor (h 160 Cm)
This small cabinet (H 160 cm) in wood and gilded stucco, carved and rechampi, Italian work of the 18th century, is very decorative with its many ornaments.
Its two doors, framed by large friezes of acanthus leaves, are painted with putti topped with baskets of flowers and draped in red.
The sides are painted in shades of old green that can be found in the background of the gilding.
The pediment has an overhanging cornice (slight lack on the right).
The interior is fitted with three fixed shelves. This cabinet has its old lock but no key.
This piece of furniture is in good condition, note wear, paint chips and lacks due to time.
