Large Wedding Dresser In Light Walnut
Large wedding cabinet made of solid walnut, in the Louis XIII style, late 19th century, crafted by the Vendée-based workshop PRAUD in Aizenay.
Beautiful carvings adorn the six door panels, featuring bird motifs and acanthus leaves on the upper panels, angel heads on the center panels, and acanthus leaves on the lower panels. Each panel features a turned disc in the center, carved with acanthus leaves. It has a beautiful dentil cornice and a disc-shaped base. The sides consist of three panels, with slight diamond-shaped points. The dowels and mortises are made of iron and are original.
