Very attractive Louis XIII solid walnut bonnetière.
Resting on two square-section rear legs and two ball-shaped front legs, the whole topped with a molding.
The front opens with a heavily molded door carved with diamond points on the bottom and top panels, while the center panel is decorated with a small molding forming an elongated reserve.
The two sides are composed of three thick panels decorated with various triangles with molded contours.
The two front jambs are embellished with applied half-columns.

Our piece of furniture has undergone restoration, notably on its rear section, the bottom has been redone and part of a rear foot has been antedated. This piece of furniture was probably modified and diminished during the 19th century.
The lock works and has its own key.
