English Plate XIX S Openwork Faience And Hand Painted Botanical Decor Bindweed Flower
Very beautiful English earthenware plate (no mark but could be Minton), dating from the mid-19th century. In the center of the bindweed flowers painted by hand, botanical painting of very high quality. Note a "hair" on the openwork edge (see last 2 photos), and the glazing of the ceramic presents (which is quite normal in the aging of earthenware) a fine cracking.
