Gilt‑bronze jewelry casket, crafted by the German firm Erhart & Söhne around 1900.
The casket features a rich Neo‑Renaissance decoration, adorned with putti in relief and finely chiselled ornamental details.
Rectangular in shape and well‑balanced in its proportions, it opens to reveal an interior entirely lined with blue silk velvet with purplish highlights.
The piece retains its original key, a particularly desirable and rarely preserved element.
Condition: good overall condition, with slight wear to the surface gilding, consistent with age and use, enhancing the authentic character of the piece.
