Georges-Émile Lebacq (1876 1950 ) is a Belgian painter, writer and poet.From 1907 he devoted himself entirely to painting.He then traveled with his wife and children to Algeria, Italy, especially Venice, in the Middle East, and settled in France in Cagnes-sur-mer. He will paint mainly in France even if throughout his life he will return, during brief passages in Belgium, particularly in Flanders to paint there.
One last time after the Second World War he will join Bruges and end his life there.
He is exhibited in many museums in France and Belgium.
