Object description :

"Jean Louis Paguenaud Signed Navy Military Warships Gibraltar XIX XX Militaria Rt116"
Oil on cardboard, depicting a seascape at dusk, which creates a very unique lighting effect. Three warships can be seen not far from a rocky mountain; this is most likely, given other paintings by this artist, of the Strait of Gibraltar.
In the sky, storm clouds and ochre lines cross them in all directions. The wind seems to be stirring up the dust surrounding the mountain.
Signed lower left: Jean Louis Paguenaud.
