Nice watercolor by the artist Pierre Marseille (1896-1980) representing the Prince's Palace of Monaco seen from the Exotic Garden; The work in perfect condition is presented in a gilded frame, coaster, which measures 55 cm by 44 cm and 41 cm by 33 cm at sight. It is signed lower right. Pierre Marseille was a discreet, sensitive painter with an assured profession, producing seascapes and landscapes that were both balanced and poetic. He has mainly exhibited in group exhibitions and in Salons. It can be found in 1923 at the Salon des Indépendants in Paris. He participated in the various exhibitions of the Proletarian Painters between 1931 and 1936 in Marseille, at the Galerie Detaille and at the Maison de la Culture. He painted during the occupation at Les Angles near Villeneuve lez Avignon. His works are often cataloged at the Union des Artistes de Provence, the Société des Artistes Provençaux, the Salon d'Allauch, the Salon de la Mer and the Salon d'Automne in Paris.
