Important Louis XV chest of drawers, model by Charles CRESSENT In veneer marquetry, with plant decoration on the sides. Curved sides and fronts, opening with two large drawers without crossbar, resting on four curved legs. White veined marble top. Rich ornamentation in gilded and chiseled bronze composed of nets of scalloped frames, drop angles and clogs with acanthus leaf motifs. Use and maintenance restorations.
