Monumental boulle sideboard in the second half of the 19th century A piece of furniture with straight sides and cut front and front corners, closed by a double leaf, supported on console legs. Everything is plated, stained black, polished on the so-called French carpet, decorated with an inlay of brass wire creating floral motifs, filled with tortoiseshell, moreover very richly decorated with gilded bronzes. On the leaves, oval medallions are framed by a profiled band in gilded bronze, framed by triangular fields in the corners. The upper cornice and the plinth are surrounded by a profiled strip. The front corners are decorated with rosettes at the top and bottom, as well as caryatids at the top.
