Circular box in gold and composite materials. The box features varnish or tortoiseshell powder inlaid with thin bands of gold. The gold mounting is embellished with an interlaced motif frames the box. The lid with retaining hinge is decorated with a foliated thumbpiece.The interior of the box is lined entirely with tortoiseshell. Work from the end of the 18th century. Louis XVI.
