Silver Songbird Music Box, England
Music box with a singing bird opening at the back with a hinged secret door revealing three punches. The sides are decorated with cornucopias opening onto a bouquet of flowers in a scroll decoration, delimited by ovals and pearl friezes. The upper part is centered with an enamel painted on these two sides, revealing an Alpine landscape lined with a painting of flowers on a turquoise blue background. This medallion is raised by triggering the mechanism by a push button on the frame revealing the singing bird. In working order, the wings do not open.
