Travel Glove Box In Grained Leather With Interlaced Handles And Bronze Fittings
Dating from the late 19th century, this glove box was intended for ladies' gloves during their travels. It is made of grained tan leather with a typical braided handle for this type of travel accessory of that era, the origin of which remains to be determined. It was most likely an item sold in department stores at the time. This model is embellished with decorative gilt bronze mounts. Its interior is lined with light moiré silk.
