Gold Brooch

Large gold brooch with enamel decoration of a pansy. It is stamped with the head of an eagle (750/1000) and dates from the second half of the 19th century. Very good state . Just a leaf stalk to be possibly rewelded but the jewel is despite this whole and united. The rod is hinged. The decor of the flower is beautifully stamped and the email is in perfect condition. This type of Norman brooch was used to retain the large lace ornaments that decorated the large headdresses on feast days. weight: 3.9g. total height: 9.5cm.
