"Rousseau Fireplace Trim Le Commerce"
Important chimney lining symbolizing Commerce. In patinated regulates, it includes a large pendulum and a pair of candelabra. The pendulum is decorated with a winged victory with the caduceus signed Rousseau. Breccia marble base. Abundant decor adorned with gilding: stylized feet with acanthus leaves, toddlers with musical instruments and nested laurel leaves. The candelabras have six sconces. Circa 1880.
