Clarel : Advertising Gouache For Fragrance "lies"
What misogyny !
This drawing was part of a series of five advertising projects for perfumes, but frankly, to illustrate the one that bears the name of "LIE" by the silhouette of a naked woman may not be very politically correct !
Still, this CLAREL, audacious publicist, has drawn in a few dashes of gouache on the bottom of silver cartoline, this silhouette in an effective synthetism.
Circa 1950. 35.5 X 28 cm, mounted under mat 50 X 65 cm.
Do not hesitate to ask for photos or additional information by mail or phone.
