Beautiful gilt wood mirror with pediment, regency period. Beautiful original gilding a little used, mercury mirror of origin also, with a significant patina of time (see detail photos), which does not detract from the reflection, but very different from a recent complexion. Note: A few slits at the wood, reinforcement screws at the back to fix the pediment, some missing dorurues retouched with gilding brush, all normal for seniority, and without gravity.
