Louis-Robert Carrier-Belleuse (1848-1913).
French painter and sculptor, son of sculptor Albert and brother of painter Pierre. Student at the Beaux-Arts in Paris of his father Ernest the sculptor and painter Cabanel and Boulanger. He began at the Salon in 1870 as a painter and exhibited sculptures from 1889 to 1912. He was a medalist at the Exposition Universelle of 1889. He was artistic director of the faiencerie Choisy-le-Roi.
