Beautiful pendulum with white marble base and golden bronzes. Signed clock of F.Gautier - rue des Fossées - Montmartre. Circa 1850. Ref. Tardy French Horlogers Dictionary. Dial with twelve cartridges, beautiful golden half-moon hands. Movement completely revised, guaranteed a year. Very beautiful timbre with crystalline sound. This clock is surmounted by a bronze nineteenth, patina medal, representing the small Neapolitan fisherman playing with a crayfish. Unsigned bronze, to be compared to the small Neapolitan fisherman François Rude playing with a turtle. Total height 41 cm, length 33 cm, width 17 cm. Dimensions of the bronze alone 25cm in length and 20 cm in height.
