Anthropomorphic Paunchy Vase - Mochica
There is the same character on 2 faces in slight relief. The character is sitting and touch with his two hands he touchs felines. A serrated frieze with animals is around the character. The neck of vase represents a male head.
Terracota.
Mochica 200-600 AD (classical period).
Good state of preservation for one face but the other is blunt. There’s a small hole. No restoration.
