Crossbow hunting. Strong forged steel bow. Arbrier fruit wood. Pontet rests finger in bronze. Adjustable sighting system with diopter. Lacrosse partly chequered and carved, decorated with inlaid pieces of ebony, bone and mother of pearl. Northern Europe late eighteenth. Length 72 cm, width 46 cm. State of use, metal parts with oxidation, three small mother-of-pearl inlays absent.
