"Landscape Pointilliste: Two Bridges Pierre-perthuis "
I was wondering what was the location of two bridges side by side? I just got the answer from a nice surfer! It is thus the two bridges of Pierre-Perthuis above the Cure, a tributary of the Yonne in Burgundy Franche-Comté. The former one connecting the shores, the other more recent at the level of the city that overlooks the river. This work, painted around 1930/40 on a coarse canvas 40 X 60 cm in a divisionist technique assembling the colors by small touches, carries a signature that is unfortunately unreadable to me.
