Pupil of the Beaux Arts from 1824, medalist in 1834, 1838, 1848. Three paintings are owed to him in the hall of the Senate Palace, the ceiling of the new library of the Louvre, painting of the chapel Ste Catherine de l The church of St Roch and the portraits of Louis XII, Charles IX in the galleries of Versailles. It exhibits "original sin" in the salon of 1870. Present in many museums: Versailles, Cahors, Avignon, Tours, Troyes ... but rare on the market.
