Louis XVI-style Oval Stool In Waxed Beech
An elegant, oval-shaped Louis XVI-style stool made of carved and waxed wood. The band is carved with a prominent water-leaf frieze and features four square connecting blocks adorned with stylized daisies. It rests on four tapered, fluted legs, ending in spinning-top-shaped feet characteristic of the neoclassical repertoire. Recently reupholstered in a traditional style and covered with black bouclé fabric edged with matching double piping.
Good condition, with a warm patina on the base.
