Oblong Dish In Varage Earthenware Louis XVI Late 18th Century
Louis XVI oblong dish in Varage earthenware, late 18th/early 19th century. The dish is decorated with hanging garlands in drapery, underlined by geometric motifs in manganese, and bordered by yellow fillets. In the center, a delicate semi of flowers.
Labels on the back indicate that this piece belonged to the Thibault collection and was included in the "faïences patronymique" exhibition at the Hôtel de Beaumont in Paris in May-June 1978. Before being sold at the Hôtel Drouot on October 17, 1983.
Good condition, one crack on the rim visible on the photos.
