A very pretty necklace from the 1930s or 1940s made of irregularly shaped ivory beads, separated by small faceted spacer beads.
Irregularities in shape and size indicate that it was handcrafted, most likely during the African colonial period.
Original oblong screw clasp, made of ivory and in working condition; some yellowing, but in very good overall condition.
