Founded in 1858 by Frédéric Boucheron, the prestigious Parisian jewelry house has developed a watchmaking line whose creations are distinguished by their architectural lines and the special care taken with materials and finishes.

Launched in 1947, the Reflet collection is one of the house’s iconic signatures. The Reflet Icare model offers a masculine interpretation of the collection, featuring bold proportions and a sleek design.

Its rectangular case, crafted from subtly brushed steel, features a meticulously crafted design characterized by wide, satin-finished bezels and slightly softened lines. Its curved profile, known as Curvex, naturally follows the curve of the wrist, ensuring a comfortable fit while maintaining the case’s bold presence.

The dial, protected by sapphire crystal, is one of this watch’s most captivating features. Its sunburst satin finish reveals subtle iridescent hues whose tones shift depending on the nature and direction of the light. Deep anthracite gray under cool light, it warms to shades of maroon, chocolate, and champagne under warmer lighting.

This rich play of colors, subtle at first glance, gradually reveals itself with the movement of the wrist, giving the dial a unique depth and presence. The circular effects visible in some photographs result exclusively from reflections of the lighting used to highlight these color variations. In reality, the dial has a perfectly uniform surface, free of marks or imperfections, whose iridescent finish retains all its subtlety.

Twelve applied metal baton hour markers, paired with two sword-shaped hands, create a particularly understated and legible display. Their slender design accentuates the dial’s geometry without disrupting its play of light. The Boucheron signature appears at 12 o’clock, while the “Swiss Made” inscription is located at 6 o’clock.

The watch is mounted on its original lizard-skin strap, whose naturally grained texture and shades of golden khaki, brown, and bronze harmoniously complement those of the dial. This combination of warm and cool tones creates a particularly cohesive whole, in which the strap plays a full part in the watch’s aesthetic identity.

It is fitted with its original steel pin buckle, engraved with the Boucheron signature.
