Gien Earthenware Tray, Renaissance Collection, 20th Century
A superb Gien earthenware platter from the Renaissance collection, notable for the richness of its decoration and the intensity of its deep blue.
It features a polychrome design abounding in foliage, plant motifs, and ornamental figures, enhanced by gilded details. A central medallion completes this refined composition, while the scalloped edges and side handles emphasize the elegance of its silhouette.
