A small, faceted crystal powder box topped with a pressed, frosted, blue-tinted molded glass lid decorated with raised butterfly motifs, mounted in a gilded metal band engraved with small beads. Inside the lid is the inscription “Made in France.” It may be by R. Robert, as he created this piece and sometimes signed his work in the glass. This object dates from the 1920s–1930s. A few small chips in the crystal are noticeable to the touch near the lid. The box measures 6 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height.
