Large Vase By Degué, David Gueron, Art Deco, 1930s, Daum, Muller, Delatte, Schneider
Large vase made of thick glass by glass artist David Gueron, known as Degué (1892–1950). In 1926, Degué became head of the Compiègne glassworks and, that same year, of the Degué art glassworks. Shaped like a baluster, this Art Deco-inspired vase features shades of coral red and brown against an orange-tinged background. Beautiful, luminous finish. “Degué” signature engraved.
