Large decorative glazed ceramic bowl, featuring two stylized roosters in relief at the center.
The piece features beautiful glazing in deep brown, black, and green tones, with the running glaze and color variations characteristic of mid-20th-century French decorative ceramics.
Date: circa 1950–1960.
The wide green rim also contrasts with the dark background and particularly highlights the animal motif.
The reverse side reveals the terracotta body as well as a monogram under the glaze; the studio or ceramicist remains to be identified.
Condition: Good overall condition, no wear, no cracks or chips, as shown in the photographs.
