Sailor René Perrin in service on the battleship Edgar Quinet between 1923 and 1926.
He took part in the China and Japan Campaign between 1924 and 1926.
The panel is composed of the photograph of sailor René Perrin framed by the flags of the coalition .on the upper part the text evokes "le souvenir de ma campagne de Chine et du japon : 1923 .24 .25 .26 ."
This sailor was assigned to the battleship cruiser Edgar Quinet as indicated on his bachi.
The battleship cruiser Class Edgar Quinet sailed in 1907 and ran aground in 1930 . it is embroidered in a medallion named Altaïr ( battleship ) lower in the center.

Condition : in the condition in which it was found ,the silk is insolated and creased in places .Presented in a molded wooden frame with its original bubbled glass .
