Marcel-paul Combellas (1906–1989) "landscape"

Oil on canvas depicting a landscape steeped in authenticity, signed by the painter Marcel-Paul Combellas.
Drawing on the great tradition of the 20th-century École de Paris, the artist captures here all the poetry and serenity of nature with a sensitive and masterful touch.
Marcel-Paul Combellas: Born in Paris in 1906 and died in 1989, he was a versatile artist (painter, portraitist, and landscape artist) who developed his career within the sphere of the École de Paris while settling permanently in the provinces (notably in the Pyrenees, in Oloron, where he left a significant artistic legacy).
A humanist and sincere artist: He painted out of an inner necessity, to escape the hustle and bustle of the modern world and capture the purity of landscapes, scenes of daily life, or portraits.
His landscape style is renowned for its sincerity, his devotion to natural light, and the power of his compositions. Good condition.
