Large 17th-century Oil On Canvas: The Assumption Of The Virgin

17th-century oil on canvas depicting the Assumption of the Virgin (174x147 cm). The canvas and its frame require restoration. On the back, a cartouche lists the donors and the painter, Tertiani. Some of these names appear on the lower right corner of the painting. The frame is made of carved wood and has lost almost all of its gilding.
