Bronze And Crystal Ceiling Light Pendant, Italy, 1960s Perfect Conditions
A set of two Bronze and Crystal Ceiling Light Pendants from Italy dating back to 1960s. An elegant pair of matching ceiling lights (pendants), featuring a circular structure in chiseled and gilded bronze with a rich cascade of faceted crystals. The refined and well-proportioned design combines the rigor of the Neoclassical/Empire style with the brilliance of faceted glass. They consist of a circular structuremarked by a perimeter band of bronze with embossed and engraved classical motifs, surmounted by an upper crown of leaf-shaped elements in molded glass. Hanging from the band is a dense basket-like composition formed by faceted prism and lozenge pendants, arranged in multiple tiers tapering downward. The dense faceting of the crystals ensures a warm and sparkling refraction of light, creating evocative plays of light on walls and ceilings. They are ideal for formal entryways, hallways, bedrooms, or living spaces in classic or vintage styles, or to create a refined contrast in modern settings. They feature two internal light bulbs with E14 mini sockets and have been completely rewired. The two ceiling lights are of Italian origin and date back to around 1960; they can be paired with another set of two identical ceiling lights but with a slightly larger diameter—see item A1609.
