Park Sculpture – Young Faun Playing The Flute – Bronze And Iron Fountain

Park Sculpture – Young Faun Playing the Flute – Bronze and Iron Fountain

Period: 1970s

A beautiful park sculpture depicting a young faun musician playing the flute, resting on an imposing seashell.

The figure, with a full head of hair delicately adorned with flowers, strikes a graceful and dynamic pose, with one leg slightly raised.

Crafted from a bronze and iron alloy, this sculpture features a very attractive antique patina with shades of verdigris and brown.

It retains some traces of oxidation and rust which, far from detracting from its charm, actually lend it its unique character and authenticity.

Designed to be used as a fountain, it features a small internal brass tube at the base that allows it to be connected to a water supply. Water can thus flow from the tip of the flute held by the figure.

This sculpture, preserved in its original condition, comes from a beautiful estate formerly located in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, on the French Riviera.

A distinctive decorative piece, ideal for a homeowner wishing to enhance their park or garden and create an elegant fountain.

It will also appeal to architects and landscape designers eager to create an original design, giving free rein to their imagination and allowing them to express their talent.
