Rococo Mirror
A Rococo- or Louis XV-style mirror made of carved wood and gilded with gold leaf. It features a prominent pediment depicting a large stylized shell surmounted by a finial. The curved frame is richly decorated with volutes, chimeras, acanthus leaves, and flowers. The mirror, which is also curved, has beveled edges, emphasizing the opulent character of this piece. Dating from the late 19th century, it is in good condition.
