A Striking Pair Of Crystal And Silver-plated Bronze Wall Sconces
A large pair of wall sconces in the 18th-century style. The Louis XIV-style frame, known as a “cage,” is topped by a projecting “coqui”; the airy structure features three light arms that are electrified. These sconces have a unique feature! The upper hollow crystal element, known as a “dagger,” is large enough to hold a light bulb inside, creating a fourth light source. Each is richly adorned with 18 “oak leaf” pendants. The electrical wiring is fully functional! In excellent condition; the crystal pendants have no cracks or chips. The silver plating is well-preserved with no oxidation.
