"Art Nouveau Table Mirror "
A 1900 Art Nouveau terracotta table mirror. Using the high-relief technique, it depicts a child emerging from the bath. Huddled, he appears frightened by a fish in the basin that serves as the mirror's base. The aquatic relief, composed of reeds, incorporates an oval, beveled mirror. Entitled "The Shiver," this sculpture perfectly embodies the Art Nouveau style, inspired by realistic scenes within natural settings.
