"the Coast Of Grace," Stefani (1938), Oil On Panel

A delicate, lively landscape depicting a group of figures on a beach bordering a body of water—likely the Côte de Grâce—whose shores are lined with trees.

A label on the back reads “Côte de Grâce,” 89.

It is signed “Stéfani*” in the lower right corner.

The brushwork is lively and energetic. It is an oil on panel.

The gilded wooden frame in the Louis XV style, featuring fluted moldings and acanthus decoration, showcases the painting perfectly.
