Charles LEVIER (1920–2003) was a Franco-American artist. His first solo exhibition took place at the Galerie Constantine in Lyon in 1949, followed by his American debut in Los Angeles in 1950. His work is part of the figurative movement known as “Les Trente Glorieuses.” Inspired by Hollywood cinema, Charles Levier employs harmony and purity in his creations, which depict a delicate and luminous world, featuring subtle hues and carefully studied color palettes.
