Artist: Wei Tsang Yang,

The painting depicts two sanjaku perched on a peach tree bending under the weight of ripe fruit, an allegory of summer. The work bears the seals that constitute the signature of the artist, Yuhi Kumashiro, as well as the oblong seal, or Yuogei, which means “delight in art.”

This masterpiece of the Nanpin style is housed in Japan and is one of the most priceless treasures of the Tokugawa Museum in Nagoya, which had never authorized a reproduction prior to this one, dating from 1986, the production of which was supervised by the museum. The artist is Yuhi Kumashiro, a famous 18th-century Japanese painter. It is published by Franklin Mint, produced by Wei Tsang Yang, reproduced on pure silk, mounted on a damask silk mat, and framed in traditional shiogi wood to reflect the beauty of the original work. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
