The violet motif on frosted acid-etched glass represents one of the most celebrated designs produced by the Daum glassworks during the Belle Époque. The technical mastery of combining relief acid-etching with precise polychrome enamel rendering and delicate gilding captures the poetic naturalism of the Nancy School.
