The globe still bears its original label reading “Globe by L.N &K, Paris – Globe Terrestre” and retains its richly detailed printed map surface, featuring attractive shades of green, ochre, and blue. The map surface shows clearly visible signs of age, including scuffs, scratches, marks, discoloration, and a few surface losses, all consistent with its age and long use.
This authentic patina gives it a lot of character while revealing a remarkable amount of geographical detail.
