Virgin And Child, Single-block Wood Sculpture

A very beautiful single-block sculpture of the Virgin and Child from the mid-18th century.
The crowned Virgin, standing on a pedestal, holds the infant Jesus in her left arm; her right hand is missing, and she is surmounted by the head of a winged angel.
A lovely console serving as a base, adorned with a coat of arms.
Pronounced scrollwork on the sides and at the top, forming a canopy.
The hanging ring is also an integral part of the sculpture.
A few visible insect holes (now gone), scattered signs of wear, and a small chip at the lower edge.
