Throughout history, tobacco has played a major role in various cultures, not only as a consumer product but also as a ritual, economic, and social symbol. Its introduction to Europe, following contact with the Americas, marked the beginning of a practice that quickly spread worldwide, influencing both aristocratic customs and folk rituals. In this context, objects associated with tobacco use, such as pipes, took on a significance that went beyond their mere utilitarian function.
