Large Delft earthenware dish from the late 17th century, decorated in shades of blue in the Kraak-Wanli style. The center depicts a bird perched on a flowering branch, surrounded by blooming peonies and insects.
The rim is divided into alternating panels in the style of Wanli-period porcelain, adorned with Taoist symbols and precious objects.
Condition: Very good condition considering its age, with only slight chipping and signs of wear on the rim, as well as a small, fine, closed crack.
